Rajan Jha, A.M, ASCE, E.I.T
Rajan Jha is Water Resource engineer currently working for ARCADIS US Inc. He did his B.S in civil Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India and M.S in Environmental & Water Resources from Virginia Tech. He has been associated with ASCE-EWRI since 2011 beginning with serving as the Secretary for Virginia Tech Chapter. He currently serves on the board of EWRI Virginia Professional chapter.
Rajan has a passion for real world water and sanitation challenges and desires to bring sustainable solutions to these environmental concerns. His technical skills mainly lie in exploring the physics and as well as philosophy behind the river flow behavior and how one can bring them back to their natural state of equilibrium. Along with EWRI, Rajan is also actively involved with Engineers without Borders and Water for People organizations.
Sudhir Kumar Pathak, E.I.T
Sudhir Kumar Pathak currently serves as one of the board members and is an officer of EWRI Richmond, Virginia. Since the start of this chapter in 2014 he has been actively involved with various activities of the chapter. He is currently working as an Environmental Engineer with EBA Engineering, based in DC Metro region. He obtained his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He holds bachelors in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur which is one of the premier engineering institutes in India.
Sudhir aspires to bring more innovative and cost effective solutions to the current environmental and energy concerns. He is actively involved in a water school project for Zambia with EWB. Outside of work, He enjoys playing plays table tennis, watching movies and is an avid reader.
Kester McCullough, E.I.T
Kester serves as one of the board members and is an officer of EWRI Richmond, Virginia chapter. Kester holds a B.S in civil engineering from Old Dominion University and currently works as a water/waste water engineer for Retaw Engineering which is based in Richmond, Virginia. Prior joining Retaw, Kester worked for two years with Arcadis for their Richmond office. Along with EWRI, he has also been actively involved with the works of Water for people organization.
Outside professional work, Kester enjoys fishing and spends most of his summers visiting Haiti for community development work.
Roger Arnold, P.E
Roger currently serves as one of the board members and an active member of EWRI Richmond, Virginia chapter. Roger holds a M.S. Environmental Engineering and a B.S. Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He is an environmental engineer with ARCADIS U.S. and has worked on a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater design and planning projects related to water supply, treatment, and conveyance infrastructure. Additionally, Mr. Arnold’s research has focused on lead and copper corrosion in drinking water and distribution system water quality.
Outside office work, Roger enjoys hiking and fishing and trying cuisines from different parts of the world.
