The Town of Ashland is accepting applications for the position of a part-time Engineer to assist with increased workload for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded projects. This position is temporary and will last a minimum of 4 months but may be extended depending on the workload. Tasks may include, but not limited to, plan review, budget preparation, budget and schedule management (including grant funding), stormwater management work, construction management, Auto CAD design. Professional Engineering registration in Virginia desired. Bachelor’s degree in engineering and two years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering. Hiring range is $35 to $55 per hour.
