Abstract: To better serve you and your municipalities, Ferguson Waterworks has developed a suite of high performance, cost appropriate and low maintenance solutions in the urban green stormwater infrastructure and low impact development space. This presentation will include an overview of these solutions and related design practices.
Presenters: Steve Shiffer, P.E. and Robert R. Connelly II, CPESC
Steve Shiffer, P.E. is an Urban Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) BMP Specialist with over 9 years of experience working in the GSI design industry, primarily in service of the Philadelphia Water Department, one of the nation’s leading GSI implementation programs. Through his work with Ferguson Waterworks, Steve seeks to promote green infrastructure practices to the maximum extent practicable in the pursuit of achieving the triple bottom line.
Robert R. Connelly II, CPESC is now an Urban Green Infrastructure BMP Specialist with Ferguson Waterworks for VA and WV. With more than 20 years at ACF Environmental and 10 years prior to that at DCR (current day DEQ) Robert brings a vast knowledge of products and practices surrounding E&S and SWM. Robert is past 2 term president of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association and still sits on the Board of Directors.
