Presenters: Joe Harris and Tefera Regassa, PE
Joe Harris – Mid Atlantic Regional Manager, RECo USA, is the Regional Manager for The Reinforced Earth Company’s (RECo) Mid-Atlantic region, based in Sterling, Virginia. Since 2014 Joe has handled sales and marketing of RECo products to owners, engineers, and contractors in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky. Joe began with RECo in 2001 as a Project Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. He earned a B.S. in Physics from The University of Pittsburgh, as well as an MBA from Old Dominion University.
Tefera Regassa, PE – Northeast Division Engineer, RECo USA, is Division Engineer for The Reinforced Earth Company (RECo), based in Sterling, Virginia. Tefera began in RECo’s engineering department in 2005, and has since held positions such as Design Engineer, Regional Engineer for Mid-Atlantic Region, and now a Division Engineer. Tefera has been involved in the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) & traffic barrier designs for projects mostly in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky where he is a licensed PE. Tefera earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering and Master’s in GeoConStruct (Geotechnical, Construction & Structural) from George Mason University.
