The Scholarship Committee is excited to announce this year’s recipients of the ASCE Richmond Branch scholarships. This year’s scholarships were awarded to 4 of the 23 very qualified applicants. These scholarship recipients possess excellent grades, significant involvement in extracurricular activities including participation in their ASCE Student Chapters, and strong interest in making an impact on society with their civil engineering degrees post-graduation.
This year’s recipients are:

Meredith Martinez, PhD Civil Engineering, Virginia Tech
Jessica Viehman, Senior BSCE, Virginia Tech
Kaleigh Yost, PhD Civil Engineering, Virginia Tech
In February (date TBD) we will hold a virtual meeting to give these students the opportunity to tell us a little bit about themselves, including current course work, plans post-graduation, and any other information they would like share.
