Event Information
ASCE Richmond Branch is excited to announce our 20th Annual Golf Outing! As most of you know, our Branch launched an initiative in 2015 to revitalize our annual golf tournament. Our goal was to transform the event beyond just a fundraiser, into a chance for members of the greater Richmond area civil engineering community to spend a day together building and strengthening relationships with each other. We are excited for the continuation of this great tradition for the 2023 season!
Money raised will go toward the Popsicle Bridge Competition, held annually for middle and high school students as part of Celebrating Engineering Ingenuity Day. The tournament proceeds will also provide scholarships to area students who are majoring in civil engineering.
Please join us at the Hunting Hawk Golf Club on October 3rd. We will have a shotgun start at 9:00 AM with a grab and go breakfast, cold beverages on the course, and lunch and awards ceremony immediately after the round. In addition to the round of golf, there will be Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt competitions.
Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in the round, while individual prizes will be awarded for the competitions along with a 50/50 raffle. You won’t want to miss this year’s event!
